Foxtail Hollow, is a family run breeding program located in eastern North Carolina, dedicated to raising healthy & happy AKC registered Miniature American Shepherds/ ASDR registered Toy & Mini Australian Shepherds & AKC registered German Shorthair Pointers (GSPs). We transport all of our puppies ourselves & offer hand-delivery nationwide. I’m Angie Stanley, the breeder behind Foxtail Hollow. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m fortunate to spend my days nurturing both children and puppies which is a dream come true for me. I raise all of our puppies in our home alongside my oldest daughter, Sarah, with the help of my husband & the rest of our family. Our program is a true family affair, with every member, from the youngest to the oldest, playing a role in the care and joy of raising our puppies.

 

We are passionate about our breeds & breeding ethically to their breed standards. We pride ourselves on raising healthy, happy pups in the loving environment of our home, ensuring they are well-socialized and ready for their forever homes. We keep tails intact on all our puppies although some of our Miniature American Shepherd puppies are born with a bobtail as we do have that gene in our program. We do not remove dew claws.

Foxtail Hollow started as a dream to raise exceptional, well-tempered puppies together as a family. We’ve owned & worked with various breeds over the years, but we fell especially in love with the intelligence, loyalty & beauty of the the Miniature American Shepherd (also known as the Toy & Mini Australian Shepherd or "Toy Aussie"), as well as the lively, fun-loving nature of the German Shorthaired Pointer. These breeds’ energetic, social, and fun-loving personalities make them fun companions for active families who enjoy the outdoors. Our goal is to share the joy and companionship these amazing breeds of dogs bring to our lives with others who will cherish them just as much.

At Foxtail Hollow, we prioritize breeding confident, sociable puppies with excellent temperaments. We are committed to raising healthy, high-quality dogs that adhere to breed standards. Our dogs are carefully selected from reputable bloodlines & evaluated before breeding them, ensuring that each puppy meets these qualities. All of our dogs live alongside us as part of our family, which means our home & life is filled with activity, laughter, and love. While the work can be demanding and the nights occasionally sleepless, the rewards are immeasurable.

Raising each puppy is an honor and privilege, and we are truly blessed to be entrusted with the care of your future family member, from birth until they join your home. Every puppy is lovingly raised in our home, with the utmost care and attention, ensuring they are well-socialized and prepared for their new homes. We do personality matching.  Therefore, we temperament test & evaluate each puppy to provide as much information as possible on what we are seeing in each puppy before matching them to an individual or family. Taking into consideration each individual/family's hopes & desires in what they are looking for in their future puppy, we take pride in doing our best to match each puppy's unique looks, personality & activity level to the right home for them, fostering lifelong bonds & setting both our puppies & their future homes up for success. Each puppy goes home vet examined, up to date on vaccinations (with the first set of shots or more done), dewormed & microchipped along with a goody bag of puppy food & toys and the appropriate registration paperwork.
